                                      Gabe obtained his BA with a triple-major
                                    BA in Psychology, Philosophy, and Latin at Mercer University in 1983. He obtained his MS in General Psychology from Georgia
                                    College & State University in 1985, and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (APA approved) from Auburn University in 1993.
                                    Disstertation title was “Personality Characteristics of Crack Cocaine Addicts”. He completed his practicum at
                                    Tuskegee VA Hospital, and APA approved psychology internship at Bradley Center Hospitals & Clinics. He is licensed in
                                    Georgia and Alabama. He has a wide variety of experience in several outpatient, inpatient, and correctional settings, including
                                    inpatient child and adult psychiatry, as well as addictions. Gabe has been staff psychologist for Department of Juvenile Justice for
                                    the past 10 years, and at Columbus Regional Youth Detention Center for 5 years prior. He has been psychologist with Columbus
                                    Regional Physicians Group from 1995-2000, and has been in private practice since that time. He was the sport psychologist
                                    for the 1997-1998 CHL Levins Cup Champion Columbus Cottonmouths Hockey Club. Special interests include parental indulgence,
                                    sport psychology, appetitive disorders, bariatrics, adolescent conduct disorders, and testing for differential diagnosis of
                                    various childhood problems. Gabe has been married about 28 years, and is proud father of a registered ICU nurse and a
                                    mechanical engineering student who is rounding out his training at Mercer. He has passions for family, bicycling, drumming,
                                    and boating; sometimes not necessarily in that order.
